If you are brand new to CrossFit, you will need to take our Specialty On-Ramp course. We want you to be comfortable and have a basic understanding of the key movements and lingo that will be used in a class. Our On-Ramp course consists of a 60 minute 1-on-1 session with one of our trained coaches. During the session our coach will discuss, demonstrate, and guide you through the key movements. Following completion of our On-Ramp course you will be able to join any one of our regular classes.

What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements. These movements reflect the key aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, and more. On any given day you will squat, press, pull, row, and run all set to a specific goal for that Workout Of the Day (WOD).
CrossFit is a total body workout that will challenge your body everyday, and yet is scalable for people of all fitness levels. Each one hour class will help you get fitter, stronger, and faster, all guided by experienced coaches in a group class setting. All you have to do is show up!
Community and Lifestyle
The camaraderie that happens at CrossFit Union Square is unique. The people working out around you help bring out your best performance on a daily basis, and often add an element of friendly competition.
It extends beyond the daily classes. We have on-site Physical Therapy, semiweekly delivery of healthy meals from Kettlebell Kitchen, frequent seminars, and “just because” socials.
It truly becomes a community, where you know everyone on a first name basis.
